PJP = Plain Jane Playa Upon dying a name will be attached to each PJ, just for flavor
GGRPs (6)
Doyle Brunson – Godfather of Poker -You are the greatest poker player in history, imo. You have a list of 3 powers you can use, but only one on any given night. 1 Night Kill, 1 Block, 1 Action Inspection (you will get a report that indicates whether or not that person had a night action). You cannot use the same action on consecutive nights.
Daniel Negreniu – Seer – You can read players like no other. Each night you will submit a player name to be viewed and you will be given one of the following results (PJ, BGRP, GGRP or Indy)
Phil Ivey –Odd Day Vig – During each day you have the power to vig a player. You will set your trap by check raising that player and your pocket aces will surely bounce them from the tournament. Be careful though, you can defeat PJG, GGRP or BGRP so choose carefully.
Chris “Jesus” Ferguson – Angel – Choose one player to protect each night. You cannot protect the same player on consecutive nights unless the previous nights protection was successful.
Allen Cunningham – Scholar – You study the game, and the players in it like none other. Each night you will submit 2 numbers between 1 &14 and those roles will be revealed in the morning write up.
Greg Raymer – Blocker – You are good at avoiding bad situations at the poker table. Each night you will submit a name and any players’ action for that night will be blocked. Also, you start with your patented Lizard Eyes Sunglasses, you must pass these to another player during N1.
BGRPs – (6) 1 Nightly Group kill
Each night you submit your kill you must submit the name of a BGRP to use as doing the kill. The same player cannot be used for the kill on consecutive nights and if you have to use a BGRP with another power, they will be unable to user their power that night.
Phil Helmuth – Seer - You are good at reading people. Each night you submit a name and their role will be revealed to you. If you die, BGs lose this ability. Oh and… you can dodge bullets baby. (NOT FOR PM: If at any point Phil is up against AA, he will fold and live to play another day. Also, Phil can only be lynched, not vigged.)
Scotty Nyguen – Blocker – You have the power to BLOCK any players actions during the night phase. If you die, the BGs will lose the power to block. You may not block the same player on consecutive nights
Mike Matusow – LF Vig - One thing you cannot tolerate is slow play, each day you can call “clock” on one of the bottom 3 posters for that day. If that player fails to post themselves out of the bottom three by the end time of that day’s lynch, they will be disqualified from tournament play. This move must be submitted by the time a player is halfway to a lynch.
Phil Laak – BG – No one can get a good read on you – This may or may not come in handy at some point in the game. (NOT IN PM – if someone views Phil, he comes back as a PJP)
Gus Hansen – BG you are a BG with no special powers, but this could change. (NOT FOR PM: if Mike dies Gus inherits his power.)
Hvaad Khan - BG you are a BG with no special powers, but this could change. (NOT FOR PM: if Scotty dies Hvaad inherits his power)
Indy
Tournament Director – You don’t really care who wins, you just want the tournament over so that you can get your drink on… You get one vig during each day/night phase that you are alive. Submit one name to me via PM and they will immediately be removed from tournament play.
Random Items
“Pocket Jacks” Random Each night – You have been dealt pocket jacks (Js,Jh), you may choose one player to go heads up with. They will be dealt a random hand, if you beat them in a hand of Texas HoldEm with your Jacks, they will bust from the tournament (die). If they beat you, your identity will be revealed to them. Or, you can fold em…
Lizard Eyes Sunglasses – Start with Greg Raymer – then passed around. – PM Reads - You are now in possession of the Lizard Eyes Sunglasses. These glasses make it impossible for anyone to read you and therefore protecting you from an attempt to bust your from the tournament. You can wear these for the next day/night cycle, then you must pass them. These do not protect you from a lynch however.
